Weekly update #2

After that it was time to move the qsnap. Here is the area I'm working on next

I didn't make very much progress this week. I had an ear infection and didn't feel well so there were a couple of days that I didn't stitch at all. I'm very close to a finish on this piece so I have to decide what I will stitch on next. That's pretty much all I have for today so until next time, thanks for reading. 

Weekly update #1

I have a finish!! I finished Merry Ho Ho and here is what it looks like:

I am very pleased with this finish. I think it's very cute. The only thing I'm unsure about is the Wisper threads. If I had it to do over, I think I would just use white floss. The Wisper was too thick using two strands but too thin using just one strand. Also, as I stitched the fuzzy fibers were thicker in some places and thinner in other places. I just don't know if the Wisper looks enough different from regular floss to be worth the trouble. But overall this is a cute piece and I'm pleased with it. I'm not sure how I will finish it yet.

I worked very little on my other WIP, Amish Welcome.

Here is where I have scooted it over in my qsnap so I can finish up the right side of the house. Since I had a finish I am focusing on this piece so I should be able to make considerable progress. And that's all I have for this week so until next time, thanks for reading.
